In June of 2002, five friends left New York City by minivan and set out across the United States to visit 38 breweries in 40 days - with a camera! The result - "American Beer," a documentary produced by Six Hundred Films.
Interesting note (not in the film): When the film crew visited Dogfish Head, our company president took them out on a kayak tour along the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal. It was a great ride - until the boat with the camera man tipped and the poor guy lost his glasses! Luckily, he had opted (at the last minute) to leave his camera on dry land!
