10 reasons you won’t want to miss Analog-A-Go-Go this year!

Friday, May 10, 2024

Compose yourselves ... Analog-A-Go-Go is back, and this year, we’re turning up the heat!! We’re kicking off the unofficial start of summer by taking our fan favorite event back to its melodious and craft roots. Here’s 10 reasons you won’t want to miss this year’s festival, taking place on Saturday, June 8 ...

1. Say "Boy, Howdy!" to the folks from CREEM Magazine ... yes, THAT CREEM Magazine!

The magazine that broke barriers, rattled cages and connected people to music in a way that has never been replicated, CREEM Magazine is also the creator of the most iconic fake beer in rock history. Since 1969, Creem has photographed everyone from The Ramones to Tina Turner hoisting the Boy Howdy! beer can. Little did most folks know, the can was just a prop; there was no actual beer inside. Now, for the very first time, this iconic can will contain a liquid brewed by us!

Creem Magazine will be on-site at Analog-A-Go-Go, selling merchandise and copies of their magazine, alongside pours of our collaboration beer, Boy Howdy! Cream Ale.

2. How about a little Old Fashioned Rock ‘n’ Roll with Morrison Hotel Gallery?!

Our love for rock ‘n’ roll runs deep. That’s why our distillery is teaming up with none other than the world leader in fine arts music photography, the Morrison Hotel Gallery. Together, we've drummed up Old Fashioned Rock ‘n’ Roll (27.5% ABV), a ready-to-pour bottled cocktail, that fuses our loves for music, art and distilling. Best enjoyed over ice while perusing the gallery’s timeless prints, it delivers the flavors found in a classic Old Fashioned cocktail, orange zest and bitters, alongside a bit of sweetness from rock candy.

Morrison Hotel Gallery is joining us for this year’s festival to sell some of their incredible works of musical greatness and offer pours of their new collaborative cocktail … because who doesn’t love a bit of old-fashioned rock ‘n’ roll?

3. To get your Thrills!

Dewey Beer Co. Thrills, that is! For this year’s festival, we’re leaning into all things craft by having SIX breweries on-site with their goodness, which includes our good friends at Dewey Beer Co.! They’re making the 4-mile trek up Route 5 to serve up one of their perfectly hazy IPAs and an exclusive Thrills recipe!

4. Bring your other half to enjoy some Other Half!

We just can’t stop teaming up with Other Half Brewing, and we’re incredibly excited that they’ve agreed to keep the collabs rolling by coming to Analog! They're bringing their cult-like brews to the festival to give you the chance to try some of their exclusives!

Spoiler: one of the beers they’ll be pouring is an almond topped molasses maple banana ice cream beer (say that ten times fast!) aged in bourbon barrels.

5. It’s a-PEEL-ing!

The apple is falling kinda far from the tree to land right here in Milton for this year’s festival! Angry Orchard is bringing some of their exclusive ciders down directly from their orchard in Walden, NY, and will be serving up samples just for you!

6. For a Michelada? More like a Srirachelada.

Angel City Brewing is making the journey to Milton, specifically for Analog-A-Go-Go!! They’re bringing the wild, wild west all the way to the east coast to give you a taste of their goodness! And yes, you read that right ... one of the exclusives they’ll be pouring is in fact a slightly spicy Srirachelada.

7. To find out what a ‘Lord Whangdoodle Churro Chupacabra” is ...

Want to know the answer? You’ll have to ask our pals from The Veil right here at our Milton Brewery on Saturday, June 8.

8. The music WILL make you lose control!

Tapping into its melodious roots, this year’s event will focus on all-things music. Our Milton Brewery will transform into a music venue meets record fair meets beer festival, where folks can spend the day perusing pop-up record shops and exploring music-related treasures from 17 independent merchants, all while listening to stellar tunes, and of course, tasting exclusive beer and spirits samples.

9. A live music line-up that’s simply irresistible!

While the main event is taking place at our Milton Brewery on Saturday, June 8, the Analog-A-Go-Go festivities will be rockin' all weekend long with an incredible lineup of live music across our coastal Delaware locations.

We’re starting the weekend off strong with a Friday night performance at Brewings & Eats by the incredible Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, from 9 - 11 p.m. This indie-rock sensation from Philadelphia has toured with The National, Dr. Dog, and Architecture In Helsinki , and has appeared at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Coachella, and Bonnaroo. They’ve been selling out shows across Europe over the last few months, but you can see them FOR FREE on the brewpub stage.

Then, on Saturday, June 8, at the Analog A-Go-Go festival, you can groove to live music by Pawnshop Roses, starting at noon, followed by Nikki & The Barn Boys at 2 p.m. Then, back in Rehoboth on Saturday evening, Yam Yam will take the brewpub stage from 9-11 p.m. Close out the weekend by heading to Chesapeake & Maine to catch Marley Fyock on Sunday, June 9 from 3-5 p.m.

PHEW ... That’s a lot of music goodness!!

10. IT’S FREE!

Must we say more?? This year, everyone’s invited to join in on the Analag-A-Go-Go goodness! The festival will be free and open to the public, with drink tickets available for purchase to be able to sample exclusive beers from Dogfish Head and our visiting breweries, as well as full pours of select Dogfish goodness in the draft trailer. That means you can choose how much, or how little, goodness you want to sip on while strolling through the vinyl marketplace. Doesn’t get much better than that!

For the full line-up of vendors, libations, and more, head to dogfish.com/analog-a-go-go. Can’t wait to sip and shop and rock with you all on June 8!
