And just like that, Dogfish Head is heading to West Virginia and Kansas, bringing our distribution footprint to 36 markets!
“We’re excited to ship our off-centered beers to West Virginia and Kansas Dogfish fans, and to begin a great and long-lasting relationship with the beer drinkers, retailers, and distributor partners in these states,” says Sam Calagione, Dogfish Head CEO and founder. “We have our new canning line pumping out beer and enough brewing capacity to ensure we can keep retailers well-stocked with our off-centered, well-differentiated family of beers,” says Sam.
Dogfish fans in both West Virginia and Kansas can expect to enjoy a full line-up of our iconic brews, including 90 Minute IPA, Namaste White, Indian Brown, 60 Minute IPA, SeaQuench Ale, Flesh & Blood IPA, Palo Santo Marron, Burton Baton, Midas Touch, and seasonal releases. Limited quantities of specialty beers and occasional rarities will also be available throughout the year. Distribution will begin late May/early June.

In West Virginia -
Ordering a delicious West Virginia hotdog at a Mountaineers or Marshall pigskin game? Be sure to reach for a 90 Minute IPA, a fan-favorite, Dogfish Head continually hopped Imperial India Pale Ale. 90 Minute IPA has a lot going on, just like this game-day treat. This fuller-bodied beer is a great complement to a hot dog topped with chili and coleslaw as the aggressive hops round out the huge collection of flavors.
Try pairing an Indian Brown, the prototypical dark IPA, with venison tenderloin, a succulent West Virginia staple. The roasty malt and well-balanced hops of Indian Brown provide a nice complement to the strong flavors in the meat.
Namaste White, a Belgian-style white ale, is a cozy complement to yummy buttery biscuits as the spicy clove and peppercorn phenolics and light, citrusy witbier flavors are a natural match for the breakfast bun. For added fun, try mixing it with orange juice for a Namaste beermosa!

Try pairing an Indian Brown, the prototypical dark IPA, with bierocks, a yummy Kansas staple. The roasty malt backbone of Indian Brown complements the beef and cabbage filling traditionally found in bierocks, while the assertive hops provide a crisp finish. Delicious!
