Aprihop Chicken Bites ... Say What?!

Wednesday, May 13, 2015

It’s Friday, the sun is shining here in coastal Delaware and our friend Amy sent us the perfect Aprihop recipe … just in time for the weekend!

One of the best parts of spring (for us) is the release of Aprhop. While summer is around the corner, there’s still time to round up some bottles of this spring seasonal. Don’t wait too long though - it’ll be gone before you know it!

Now, about these chicken bites …

Aprihop Chicken Bites

Ingredients

  • - 4 chicken breasts
  • - 2 bottles of Aprihop
  • - 3 eggs
  • - 1 cup flour
  • - 1 cups Corn Flakes
  • - 1 cup Cheez-It crackers
  • - 1 cups Italian bread crumbs
  • - 1 Tbsp oil
  • - 1 Tbsp butter

Directions

Cube chicken and soak in Aprihop for about 30 minutes.

Mix and crush Corn Flakes, Cheez-It crackers and Italian bread crumbs.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Scramble eggs and add more Aprihop (quarter cup). Coat chicken in flour, dip in egg mixture and then bread in crushed mixture.

Heat pan with oil and butter. Brown on each side. With chicken still in pan add a tad of Aprihop.

Place on greased tray and bake in oven for 20 minutes.

That’s it! Enjoy!

Note: Amy is working on a dipping sauce … stay tuned.
