We’re, once again, proudly joining more than 1,000 breweries worldwide participating in the Black Is Beautiful Initiative collaborative brewing project started by Weathered Souls Brewing Co. to advocate for racial justice by brewing up our very own version of #BlackIsBeautifulBeerVol2! 

Our iteration of Black Is Beautiful Vol.2, brewed alongside Weathered Souls Brewing Co., is a peach cobbler inspired hazy IPA, to pay homage to a key culinary ingredient native to both breweries’ home states of Delaware and Texas, the peach. This beer was brewed with graham crackers, cinnamon, nutmeg moscavado sugar and vanilla to lend the full flavors of a peach cobbler to the IPA, down to the crumbly top!  

Clocking in at 7% ABV, Black Is Beautiful Vol. 2 is rolling off our canning line soon and will be available on draft for on-site consumption at Brewings & Eats, Chesapeake & Maine and our Milton Tasting Room & Kitchen beginning Saturday, Aug. 12, as well as to-go in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans ($14 per 4-pack) from our Off-Centered EmPOURium. As part of the Black Is Beautiful Initiative, $1 per pint and 4-pack will be donated to the National Black Brewers Association to support the development and growth of black brewers nationwide.  

The Black Is Beautiful Initiative is an open-ended beer collaboration that supports the National Black Brewers Association's work in developing and growing Black brewers nationwide. Every participating brewery is asked to use the Black is Beautiful Vol. 2 label and donate $1 of each unit sold to the National Black Brewers Association.
