Built to Spill to headline Analog-A-Go-Go
Since their first release in 1993, Built To Spill have become one of the defining forces in American independent modern rock, and they’re coming to Dogfish Head to play a free show.
On Friday, June 12, the band Magnet Magazine calls “subtly excellent and obviously influential” will take the stage at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth Beach.
“The Boise, Idaho, band has filled the space where flannel meets Birkenstocks,” says Spin. “Their jangly head trips place them somewhere between Sonic Youth and Luna on the indie-rock circuit, but they’ve also wooed Deadheads.”
And that’s just the beginning of a killer weekend packed with live music, cask ales, vinyl and artisans of all kinds.
On Thursday, Tall Tales and the Silver Lining will play a free show at the pub, and Hop-Along will do the same on Saturday. (Get a taste for Built to Spill and Hop-Along on this Spotify playlist.)
The core of Analog is Saturday’s vinyl swap and cask ale fest at our production brewery in Milton, Del. We'll have record shops on hand and a handful of East Coast vinyl collectors ready to sell, swap and barter. You'll also find food and more than half a dozen artists and vendors, including handmade Yoloha yoga mats, vintage clothing shop Sid Vintage, woodworker Brian Kolakowski and outdoor apparel supplier Woolrich. (Get the full lineup of vendors here.)
Tickets for Saturday’s event at the brewery are $25 and go on sale at dogfish.com at noon April 21. Designated drivers pay only $5. Ten Dogfish cask and draft beers will be available to sample from your Analog tasting glass, and you'll also get a recycled tote to hold all the vinyl and hand-crafted and curated goodies you’ll snag throughout the day. Brewery tours also will be available.
Bonus! We’re giving away Firefly Music Festival passes! Purchase a ticket to Analog-A-Go-Go between April 21-May 5 and automatically get entered to win two general admission passes to Firefly in Dover, Del., from June 18 – June 21!
