Off-Centered Brewing

You likely know that some of my very favorite Dogfish beers are the ones lovingly small-batch crafted by all of our brewers at the Rehoboth Beach brewpub. I always make it a point to get out to the pub to try these very special beers brewed by these amazingly talented folks. This week, however, brought a special twist with a suprising, perhaps, guest brewer. Currently, Butch is the first shift Packaging Mechanic. But back in the day, Butch, in all honesty, probably helped out a little all over the place, right Butch? Then one day, not that long ago, Butch shared an idea with Sam and badda bing badda boom, the Black Thai Affair materialized. This Wednesday at our brewpub, Butch, Sam and Bryan whipped up an imperial stout with edamame and Thai basil. The thought of it makes me hungry and thirsty! We are excited that Dogfish allows creativity to breed into action, and we are even more grateful when we get to drink it. Congratulations on your first honest to goodness, brew, Butch, you made us proud! Can't wait to try it!
