Four big Dogfish beers coming your way
December is a big month for big beers here at Dogfish Head. Four favorites with 10% ABV or more are headed out our doors.
This four-pronged release is so big, it's best expressed in schoolyard taunts.
This batch of 120 Minute is so big, not even Dora can explore it.
We fiddled with our brew schedule to squeeze in one last round of this legendary IPA for 2011. If you get your hands on a four-pack, share one or two with someone you love, and stick a couple in your beer cellar for a spell to bring out notes of sherry and marmalade. 15-20% ABV, 120 IBUs. This Fort is so epic, its ABV is measured in miles.
This Belgian-style ale is brewed with a ridiculous amount of pureed raspberries, but don't let the fruitiness fool you. Fort has a bold side. Great fresh, Fort only gets better with age. 15-18% ABV, 49 IBUs. Learn more.
This World Wide Stout is so colossal, you'll have to take a train and two buses just to get on its good side.
When it debuted in the winter of 1999, World Wide Stout was the biggest beer in the world. This rich, roasty and complex stout has more in common with a fine port than with your average beer. Like 120 Minute and Fort, World Wide ages with the best of them. 15-20% ABV, 70 IBUs. Learn more.
This Burton Baton was aged on oak so long, its Social Security number is 7.
We start with a thread of English-style Old Ale and a thread of Imperial IPA. After each ferments, they're blended and transferred to one of our 10,000-gallon oak tanks. A month of wood adds toasty vanilla notes to this hoppy blend. 10% ABV, 70 IBUs. Learn more.
Want to look for these beers near you? They'll be heading to wholesalers this month and will appear on retail shelves and taps over the next few weeks. Punch your ZIP code into our Fish Finder. Cheers!
