Get your hands on a handmade Punkin growler or mug!
For the past few years, we’ve released an extremely limited run of ceramic Punkin Ale growlers made by our friends at Romanick Pottery in nearby Newark, Del. These jugs of gourdy goodness go lightning fast, so if you’re interested in grabbing one this year, here’s the skinny.
We’re selling 50 Punkin growlers on Tuesday, Sept. 1, the day Punkin Ale drops. Exactly 25 will be available at our Milton brewery, and 25 will be available at our Rehoboth Beach brewpub. (Sorry, but shipping these would keep us up at night, so you’ve gotta grab them in person.)
The growlers will be first-come, first-serve at both locations. The Milton brewery opens at 11 a.m. and we’ll hand out tickets to the first 25 people in line. The Rehoboth brewpub opens at noon. These growlers go fast and folks tend to line up early, so plan accordingly.
Each $175 Punkin growler will come with a complimentary fill of fresh Punkin Ale. One growler per person, and no reselling onsite, please, or we’ll have to show you the door. (We are hoping to get a few more growlers this year, but no promises.)
If you miss out on the growlers, we have a super-cool Plan B this year. We’re offering 350 hand-thrown Punkin Ale mugs from Deneen Pottery, a second-generation family business in Saint Paul, Minn. The mugs WILL be available online, as well as at our Milton brewery and Rehoboth Beach brewpub, starting Sept. 1, and will cost $25 each.
And of course, everyone’s favorite fall seasonal Punkin Ale drops here and in markets where Dogfish is sold on Sept. 1. Use the Fish Finder to discover where wholesalers have delivered it in the past 60 days.
It’s almost fall. We’re ready. Are you?
