Good things come in fours.
This week we will have four pub exclusives on at one time. Sweet! The Shark beer and Tej are moving along and we still have a little left of those. On Wednesday, we will be tapping Bed Burglar, an amber ale brewed with a blend of four malts, two New Zealand hop varieties (notably Nelson Sauvin), and fermented with American Ale yeast. It's super good so I hope you'll come and get some. On Friday, we'll be putting the Oktoberfest lager on. It is also super good. It weighs in at 7.5%ABV with 24 IBUs tempering a luscious malt profile. It's totally satisfying in so many ways.
Last week was pretty cool. I had Jesse down to go over a few process changes down here at the pub so he's well prepared for brewing some neat Egyptian business with Sam and Floris and the film crew. We had fun, learned lots, and Jesse got to experience the indulgence wrap. Another satisfied customer. In addition to this, Sam and I were in the big city filming the remainder of the footage for our upcoming Pain Relievaz video. The new song is pretty alright and the video is going to be out of sight! Fun and hangovers were shared by all. The smell at one of the Brooklyn locations was fishy and made the hangovers even better. Turns out we were next to a fish processing plant. Thanks, Bengt!
This week, in addition to all of the fun beers coming up, we're hosting Brooks Carretta for the week. Brooks is the brewer from Italy who will be brewing at Birrerria at Eataly in NYC. We'll be going through some test brews of Birrerria recipes here at the pub which will be fun. It'll be great to get to know Brooks better and make some great beer in the process.
Well, that's all I know for now. See you later.
