It’s the most wonderful time of the year in Philadelphia … Philly Beer Week! 

Established in 2008, Philly Beer Week is one of the O.G. citywide beer festivals. There are more dinners, tours, pub crawls, tastings and meet-the-brewer nights than you can shake an empty pint glass at, and we’re pumped to be there, as we have been since the beginning!

May 29: Opening Tap
6 p.m., 23rd Street Armory, 22 S. 23rd St.
The best and largest craft beer party in the country! This is the official kick-off for #PBW2015, complete with live music, food trucks and tastings from 30+ breweries, PLUS the unveiling of the Philly-Belgo collab, Leuven On A Prayer, and Brotherly Suds VI. Tickets are $92 for VIP; $46 for GA; $25 for DDs. 

May 30: Hair of the Dogfish Brunch
11 a.m.-3 p.m., Fergie’s Pub, 1214 Sansom St.
Line your bellies with delicious, fortifying comfort food paired with our off-centered ales. A firkin of 75 Minute IPA will be at the bar. 

May 30: Beer Quizzo
Drury Beer Garden, 1311 Sansom St.
You know you love Quizzo! What's better than hanging outside on a beautiful day, answering trivia and drinking some Dogfish Head? Think you know your stuff? Prove it and enjoy a brew with us!

May 31: Throwdown in Franklintown
2 p.m., Kite & Key, 18th and Callowhill
Cheer on local beer reps from Allagash, Yards, Troegs, Victory and Dogfish Head as they battle it out in crazy contests. 

June 1: Join Sam Calagione and Wells & Young’s Jim Robertson
Noon, Local 44, 44th and Spruce
Hang out with Dogfish founder Sam Calagione and Wells and Young Brewmaster Jim Robertson. Beers from both breweries will be served, as will Resurrection Ale House Twice Fried Chicken! 

June 1: The Decker & Sam Happy Hour
4:30 p.m., American Sardine Bar, 18th and Federal
Join Dogfish founder Sam Calagione for his annual get-together with old friend Curt Decker of Nodding Head. Enjoy 2013 Black & Blue, 2014 120 Minute IPA, Sixty-One, Festina Peche, Indian Brown Ale, Namaste … and there might even be some super-vintage Fort and World Wide Stout! Nodding Head's renowned Ich Bin Ein Berliner Weisse and BPA (Bill Payer Ale) will be joining the party. Awesome eats will be prepared by Celebrity Chef Scott Schroeder. This is one bro-down you do not want to miss. 

June 1: 7th Annual Extreme Homebrew Challenge
7 p.m., Jose Pistola's, 263 S. 15th St.
Sam will join our favorite home-fermenting enthusiasts, George and Nancy from Home Sweet Homebrew, to oversee entries. Past winners have been truly awesome and earned some great prizes. 

June 4: Balls-n-Beers Bocce Tournament
6:30 p.m., Field House, 1150 Filbert St.
FREE bocce tournament! Compete to win kick-ass prizes from the Philadelphia Union, Dogfish Head and Major League Bocce. During the tourney, you'll enjoy $4 pints of 60 Minute IPA, 90 Minute IPA, Burton Baton, Festina Peche, Namaste and Noble Rot.
