On The Road Again...
Spring and fall are always nuts for beer events and travel and this spring is no different. Believe me, I'm not complaining.
Thursday Bryan and I are brewing a Saison with Garam Masala, Tamarind, and Elachi, gonna call it Pale India Ale and it should go on tap at our Rehoboth pub only in about three weeks.
Then a few days vaca then off to LA for the premier of Beer Wars, a full length documentary about how craft brewers compete in an industry dominated by giants. We're proud to be a part of this movie and it includes other craft breweries like Stone and New Belgium. Over 440 theaters around the country at the same time on April 16th and afterwards they are going live to an interview with Ben Stein and a bunch of us brewer types in LA. If you love beer you don't want to miss this movie and you can find theaters near you at the website above.
From there I head to Boston for the annual Craft Brewer's Conference. Our brewing brethren will descend upon this fine city - a stone's throw from where the Mayflower landed as a result of running out of beer. Pretty apropos. On Tuesday, April 21st we are doing an event with a bunch of our favorite international breweries at The Other Side in Boston and on Thursday, April 23rd we are doing a full-on dogfish beer dinner at Cambridge Commons in Cambridge. Should be a heck of a good time.
