On the Road Again and Out the Doors

Tuesday, July 28, 2009

After a long week on the road it’s nice to be back to the hustle and bustle of slower lower Delaware. Yep there is a hustle and bustle down here. For the first time in Dogfish Head history and the first time in the Oregon Brewers Festival history we participated in the largest open air beer festival in the United States. Being that I knew Oregon was going to be a scorcher I decided we should pour our thirst quenching summer seasonal Festina Peche. What a way to get this beer sampled, heat, and 20,000 educated craft beer palates. As I guessed the beer was very well received!Being on the road makes it hard to keep up with the flow of communication and happenings at the brewery, especially when we are about to roll into the launch of our number one seasonal beer! Punkin will start leaving the building the third week of August for launch into the general market place September 1st all the way through till October 1st. We will be shipping Punkin for five weeks straight so bare with us on availability at your local hot spots for Dogfish Head. Be on the lookout for our limited edition punkin posters and post cards, these are copies of our one of a kind, limited edition silk screen prints made right here at the brewery.September also marks the long awaited launch of Pangaea. It seems like every time I have time to type we are launching another killer beer. Pangaea will once again be run in limited amounts, so once again check with you wholesaler if you are an account of local retailer if you are a consumer. More to come in the next few months, stayed tuned.

Cheers
