... pub assistant manager Matt Patton and I brewed a beer of his design and had a wicked good time. The result of our labor went on tap yesterday. It is totally great. Tomorrow, we will have our friends from Epic brewery in New Zealand collaborating with us on a beer which is really exciting. A lot of good ideas came together and I'm looking forward to the day because we will be trying new ingredients and new processes. Welcome to Delaware guys. Yes, it's going to be hotter tomorrow.

Last week we brewed with the kind folks from Grain Surfboards in Maine. We've made a brown ale of sorts which, as of yesterday, is aging on cedar planks from their workshop. The beer tasted good, the wood smelled nice. What more can you ask for? I hope to have this beer on at the pub in about two weeks.

We have a whole lot of sucklessness planned at the pub brewery this summer so stay tuned.
