time is up.
It's the moment I've been dreading all summer-- my last day as the Marketing Intern for Dogfish Head Craft Brewery. Noooooo...this cant be it! I dont want to leave! Where did the summer go?! When you think of internship you dont exactly think of fun, but MY internship was just that-- fun. It was exciting to come to work each and every day. I swear! I have learned more at Dogfish in 3 months than I have in the 4 years I've spent at school (sad but true). They have taught me everything from the business world to the craft beer world. But, most importantly, they taught me the little things that fall in between those two worlds-- real life lessons. And, even better, they gave me a voice...they let me blog! I'm going to miss my weekly farm visits. I thank anyone, and everyone who may have read my posts. It's not every day, or every internship that a company encourages such creativity. But here it seems like you just can't contain it-- there's creativity bouncing off the walls! The people, boy am I going to miss the people. They really are just great. Bottom line. I feel lucky to have been given the opportunity to work at Dogfish Head. They have changed my outlook on so many different things, especially beer! Theobroma, oh how I'll miss you. I could go on for days, but it's soon that time...Beer:30. It's the perfect ending to an off-centered internship.
