Time to get your bocce on, Chicago!
Everyone shows up in costumes, it’s safer than lawn darts, and you can play with a beer in your hand. Bocce basically rules.
This weekend, Dogfish founder Sam Calagione is bringing the Intergalactic Bocce Tournament back to Chicago, and he’d love for you to join him at the opening and closing events.
Friday, May 30
First up, we’re kicking off the weekend at 3 p.m. Friday with a party at 1550 Bar downstairs at the Kingsbury Whole Foods. We’ll be pouring Positive Contact, 90 Minute IPA, Aprihop and Namaste. And if you buy a pint, you’ll get a Dogfish glass while supplies last. Score!
At 4:30, you’re more than welcome to join us up at the rooftop parking lot to witness the 2nd annual Midwest Intergalactic Bocce Tournament. We’ll have a la carte beers for sale and a bunch of fun prizes.
Sunday, June 1
At 11 a.m. Sunday, join Sam and the Dogfish crew for brunch at Eataly’s Birreria in the Near North Side. To complement Eataly’s awesome brunch menu, we’ll be serving Namaste Mimosas and Bitches Brew with Eataly espresso beans.
If you love bocce as much as we do (heck, we’ve even brewed a Bocce Beer and made a bocce tap handle!), you won’t want to miss these events!
