Calling all cocktail enthusiasts and lovers of libations! We’ve got a spirited treat for you with our brand-new mixology class at Chesapeake & Maine, Off the Rails with Ryan. This four-part series, led by our Head Mixologist Ryan Warwick, will take you on a journey through different spirits and essential cocktail-making skills. Whether you’re a seasoned cocktail fan or just looking for a fun night out, this is your chance to shake things up behind the bar! Our first class, a Vodka & Gin Masterclass, will be on Wednesday, March 19, and there are two time slots available: 4:30 - 6 p.m., or 6:30 - 8 p.m.
What’s Included:
- 30-minute lesson – Dive into the history of our session-specific spirit(s), learn about Chesapeake & Maine’s bar program, and get an introduction to Dogfish Head Distilling Co.’s handcrafted spirit portfolio. Each session will focus on a different spirit – or 2!
- 60-minute hands-on workshop – Creation time! With the help of Ryan, whip up your own cocktails using seasonal ingredients
- Tastings & small plates – Enjoy classic cocktail samples (You need some tasting inspiration, right?!) and paired bites throughout the class
- Take-home bottle – Choose a 750ml bottle of Dogfish Head to continue the fun at home with what you’ve learned in class
$70 per person – Includes the session, a full cocktail (made by you!), a bottle of spirits, cocktail samples, small plates & gratuity. We’ll also be excited to host you at our full bar which will be open just for you!
Bonus: Each session in this four-part series builds on mixology fundamentals, but you're welcome to join any class on its own—no prior session required to savor the full experience! If you make it to all four sessions, you’ll get an exclusive spirits-inspired gift
