Better 'Sooner' than later! Here we come, Oklahoma!
We've heard your cries, Oklahoma and we're happy to annouce that our off-centered ales are heading your way in early June!
“We’re excited to ship our off-centered beers to Oklahoma and kick off a great, long-lasting relationship with craft beer lovers, retailers, and distributor partners in the Midwest,” says Dogfish Head founder & CEO Sam Calagione. “The Midwestern states are among the fastest growing craft beer markets and we’re pumped that our lineup of beers will be available for Oklahoma folks to enjoy. We also have our brand new canning line cranking out beer and enough brewing capacity to ensure we can keep retailers well stocked with our well-differentiated family of beers.”
Dogfish fans in The Sooner State can expect to enjoy a full line-up of iconic, fan-favorite brews, including 90 Minute IPA, Namaste White, Indian Brown, 60 Minute IPA, SeaQuench Ale, Flesh & Blood IPA, Palo Santo Marron, Burton Baton, Midas Touch, and seasonal releases. Dogfish Head Brews and Oklahoma Chews!
For those that enjoy a little grub with their Dogfish Head beers, the brewery suggests pairing delicious off-centered pints with classic Oklahoma bites.
Fan-favorite 60 Minute IPA, the continually hopped India pale ale, pairs perfectly with savory fried okra, as the citrusy, piney hops present a nice counter to the tasty cornmeal breading typically used in this delicacy.
The next time you order hearty Oklahoma sausage and gravy, be sure to reach for a 90 Minute IPA, a fan-favorite, Dogfish Head continually hopped Imperial India Pale Ale. Its substantial maltiness perfectly balances this classic comfort food, and the aggressive hops lighten up the heaviness of this dish.
Try pairing an Indian Brown, the prototypical dark IPA, with chicken fried steak, a yummy Oklahoma staple. The roasty malt backbone of Indian Brown Dark IPA pairs perfectly with this entrée, while the balanced but hoppy finish rounds out the flavors deliciously well.
