Cheers to 28 Years of Original Beer, Original Spirits, Original Food and Original Music
Ahhh, imagine this: the year is 1995… and while most of us are catching the premiere of ‘Toy Story’ or jammin’ out to Montell Jordan, the smallest commercial brewery in America is opening its doors on Rehoboth Ave. Now it’s the year 2023 and we’re ready to party because the first brewpub in the First State is turning 28!! From then ‘til now, I think we can all agree that we’ve changed quite a bit. From brewing 12-gallon batches of beer to where Dogfish Head is now, the soul of the Brewpub has always been to be the home of Original Beer, Original Spirits, Original Food and Original Music … and we’re proud that that remains locked in our core today.
You better believe we’re going to ring in one more year with a day chock full of off-centered goodness!! Come celebrate with us at Brewings & Eats on Friday, June 23 with live music, the can release of 30 Minute IPA, and some food and ale specials, with a couple of throwback appearances!
30 Minute IPA Can Release
You know we couldn’t celebrate properly without a new brew! Releasing just in time for our 28th anniversary, 30 Minute IPA is a continually hopped IPA for 30 minutes with a blend of piney & citrusy hops. The Session IPA that is always right on time! The little sibling of 60 Minute, 90 Minute and 120 Minute has finally been born. Clocking in at 3% ABV.
You can snag 16oz 4-packs to-go from the off-centered emPOURium and on draft at Brewings & Eats on June 23… available until it’s not!
Rock Out to Music of Brewpub’s Past
Friday, June 23 from 9 – 11 p.m.
We’re taking it back to our old school music scene with a live show from Walt Lafty in celebration of our anniversary! Lafty, the former lead vocalist for Silvertide, performed with them back in the day at the Brewpub when they were first starting out, their shows were both powerful and explosive! Check-out one of their throw-back performances here: Silvertide - Ain't Comin' Home.
Saturday, June 24 from 9 – 11 p.m.
We’re keeping the celebration going into Saturday with live music from Paul Keen. Keen used to perform at the Brewpub back in the day, so it’s fitting to welcome them back as we turn 28!
Let’s raise a pint and cheers to 28 years of off-centeredness!
