Dogfish Creates Framing Frenzy In Downtown Rehoboth Beach
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
4/4/2011
The parking lot at Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats was a Framing Frenzy today. More than 100 Dogfish co-workers stepped away from the brewhouse, the bottling line and our kitchens today to support the local community. As part of our on-going Beer & Benevolence efforts, we shut down production at both places, and paid our entire team to frame homes for Habitat For Humanity for the day as part of the Second Annual Downtown Rehoboth Framing Frenzy.
Instead of making beer, food & spirits - we're working on the beginnings of a home for a local family. This is the second year we've done the Framing Frenzy - and it is infectious! This year, our neighbors at Ocean Atlantic/Sotheby's Realty are doing a home in their lot too! Want to help out? You may not be able to hammer nails with us, but Habitat had to buy all the lumber & supplies for our workers - you can donate to support the cause... right here!
Thanks to our entire team, the Ocean Atlantic team, Sussex County Habitat For Humanity, all the Americorps volunteers, our lunch crew from Deli 88, Starbucks & Cakebreak (for bringing by sweet treats!) and all those who stopped by to cheer us on or just tooted their horn!
We've posted a bunch more photos on our Facebook page, so if you want to see us in action - just click on over.
Cheers!
