Oh my gourd, it's officially the season for all things Punkin Ale! Get ready to celebrate with some exclusive libations, DOGfishies, local vendors and more at our Milton Brewery!
On Saturday, October 12, 2024, swing by the Milton Brewery from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. for Punkin Ale Fest, a FREE family friendly event where you’ll enjoy some amazing local craft vendors and food trucks, Dogfish Head ales & spirits, live music, fall games, a pet photo booth and much more! We'll have our draft trailer flowing in the parking lot, along with a canned cocktail bar, and live music!
Live Music
We are thrilled to announce that we have Through Being Cool, the incredible band who plays acoustic emo nights at our Milton Brewery, will be back to rock the stage. They will be rocking the stage from 3:30 - 5:30pm. Do not worry! We will have Dj @jimshreds spinning records all day leading up to our live music!
You think we would end the fun there?! No way! Not only will we have off-centered ales flowing all day, including Punkin Ale, we’ll also have our friends from Angry Orchard on-site serving up their delicious ciders alongside our festivities! Try two of their cider house exclusives such as SpiceMan and Sourced From Plum. So what do you say?? Ready to carve out some punkin fun?!
Benevolence Partner: BVSPCA
Did we mention the dogs?? Punkin Ale Fest is going to be a bark-centric event, so bring your pups along! During the month of October a portion of tips at the Milton Brewery will benefit the Brandywine Valley SPCA (BVSPCA) as part of Dogfish Head’s Beer & Benevolence program. The nonprofit will be on-site at Punkin Ale Fest with some adoptable canine friends. Those looking to support the non-profit can also bring their dogs and/or family over to our donation-based, fall-inspired photo booth from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
The generosity doesn’t stop there! Our amazing vendors have donated some incredible items from their booths for our raffle. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to the BVSPCA. Raffle drawings will begin at 5:30 PM, and you must be present to win, so make sure to stick around for your chance to take home one of these fantastic prizes!
Punkin Contest
Get creative with pumpkin-centric activities like a pumpkin coloring station, pumpkin games, and a pumpkin decorating contest. To enter the contest, create a Dogfish Head themed pumpkin at home before the festival, and bring it with you between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Judging will take place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., with the winner announced at 5:30 p.m.. This year’s winner will go home with a boat load of Dogfish Head swag, and the reigning title as our Dogfish Head Punkin Champ!
Cider
You think we would end the fun there?! No way! Not only will we have off-centered ales flowing all day, including Punkin Ale, we’ll also have ciders from our friends at Angry Orchard! Try two of their cider house exclusives such as Wassail with cinnamon, ginger nutmeg and clove to make the ultimate fall cider! Sourced From Plum, a cider house exclusive with New York plums join in to make this special cider release a love note to New York orchards. Everyone loves cider, so we will have non-alcoholic cider available for all ages! Want to spike your cider? Do not worry, Punkin Liquor will be available for a little extra flavor! So what do you say?? Ready to carve out some punkin fun?!
