Asymmetric Ale

The second in a two-part series, Asymmetric Ale is a study in one thing we know how to do well here: Off-Centered’ness.  While the first beer in this series (Symmetric Ale) was a test of balance, Asymmetric Ale is all about tipping the scales to one of our most beloved beer ingredients – hops.  Chalk-full of Citra in the boil, this hob bomb was then heavily dry hopped with more Citra, as well as Simcoe and Amarillo.  To lighten up the body in a further effort to bring out that sticky hoppiness, a small addition of Wildflower Honey was added to the kettle.  The result is deceptively drinkable and full of bright citrus and pungent resinous grassy notes, and little else.  The perfect beer to hopefully welcome in the warm weather of Spring (finally!).

Asymmetric Ale will be tapped on Friday 4/4/14 and will be available until its gone!
