The perfect cookie demands the perfect accompaniment. This unique spiced ale is brewed from a blend of toasted peanuts, seeds, rice and spices with a dash of milk sugar for a complete alfajores experience.

We partnered with our friends at gather to create a beautiful spiced mild ale to pair with their luscious dulce de leche sandwich cookies called alfajores. The wife in this local duo hails from El Salvador where they wash down these tasty biscuits with a regional horchata flavored with toasted morro seeds, peanuts, rice, cocoa and a blend of spices. Together we created our own horchata de morro blend to flavor this toasty mild ale to enjoy with friends and, of course, alfajores.
