Tartan Feathered is a traditional Scottish Wee Heavy brewed with copious amount of stewed caramel malts. It has a dark ruby color and a rich, sweet maltiness. Hops are subdued to bring out the caramel, toffee and dark fruit flavors that typify the style. We're serving it on nitrogen to provide a velvety mouthfeel. You are free to shout "Alba gu bràth! Sláinte!" as you enjoy a glass, but, please, keep the kilt lifting to a minimum.
