Costumes & Karaoke

Costumes & Karaoke

All dressed up and ready to go, Costumes and Karaoke is our latest off-centered ale that’s as flavorful and unique as your Thursday night karaoke performance!

What started as a Beer Exploration Journal exclusive in our Milton Tasting Room, quickly stole the show and rose to the top as a guest favorite. Which could only mean one thing … we had to bottle up that goodness and take it on the road for all to enjoy!

Taking inspiration from the traditional Indian beverage ‘Golden Milk,’ this Imperial Cream Ale is brewed with an oat cream base using a blend of equitably sourced, single-origin spices from our pals at Burlap and Barrel in NYC. That spice blend includes a complex mingling of vanilla beans, ginger, turmeric, star anise, cardamom and cinnamon.

The result? An 8% ABV creamy concoction that’s chock full of sweet and spice, and everything nice.

Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout

Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout

The rumors are true. Often whispered about in the darkest corners of the beer community, World Wide Stout just got a little more complex and whole lot more sought-after. Brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley, you might be wondering how this boundary-pusher could get any more boisterous. One word – Utopias.

Chock full of intricate aromas and warming flavors, Sam Adams Utopias is a unique blend of aged ales dating back more than 25 years – the perfect complement to an already complex World Wide Stout. And thanks to a shipment of freshly emptied Utopias barrels from our friends at Sam Adams, we were able to see just how well these two beloved brews would mingle. After sitting in the barrels for a full year, Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout was born.

The result is a jet-black, rich and roasty beer with balanced notes of espresso, cocoa, sherry and vanilla that clocks in at 17.3% ABV.

Utopias Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout goes great with (or as!) dessert and is an excellent candidate for cellaring, so grab a few bottles to enjoy now and lay the others down for a few years to share with someone you love.

All Things Yet IPA

All Things Yet IPA

It’s the most wonderful time of the year for a new beer!

Spiced more like a spirit than an IPA, All Things Yet borrows from our distiller’s stash, marrying the intensity of a classic American IPA with the bright and citrusy sensations of Dogfish Head Distilling Co.’s Compelling Gin.

Brewed from barley malt and rye, and spiced with Centennial and Simcoe hops, we’ve layered on the complexity with a unique blend of botanicals, including juniper, coriander, lemon peel and green cardamom.

The result is a singular drinking experience that evokes fine gin cocktails and good times.

Available as part of our 2019 IPAs for the Holidays variety pack, check out the Fish Finder to help you get your hands on a bottle of All Things Yet!

Bourbon Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout

Bourbon Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout

Just when we thought World Wide Stout couldn’t get any better…

Our brewers decided to take a Dogfish Head legend and age it on charred oak bourbon barrels acquired directly from Heaven Hill Distillery – still wet with spirits when they arrived at the brewery!

Rare and often rumored about in the darkest corners of the beer community, this variety of World Wide Stout is dark, rich, roasty and complex, balancing notes of coffee and licorice with the carmely, smooth finish of bourbon.

Clocking in at 15-18% ABV, Bourbon Barrel-Aged World Wide Stout is an excellent candidate for cellaring, so grab a few bottle to enjoy now and lay the others down for a few years. You’ll be happy you did … trust us.

American Beauty Hazy Ripple IPA

American Beauty Hazy Ripple IPA

It’s been a long strange trip, and we’re not about to stop now. After six years and four releases of American Beauty, we’re back with an encore … only this time you haven’t heard the melody.

Together with the Grateful Dead, we’re proud to introduce our latest collaborative iteration – American Beauty Hazy Ripple IPA.

Inspired by the Grateful Dead’s beloved “American Beauty” album, American Beauty Hazy Ripple IPA is an unfiltered India Pale Ale brewed with spelt – an ancient heirloom grain that contributes a natural haze – that’s then dosed with a special yeast variety to accentuate hop aromatics.

The result is a psychedelic 7.0% ABV ale that’s bursting with notes of tropical fruit and juicy citrus, while the style callout lovingly references the fan-favorite track “Ripple.”
